Sai
Film: Sai
Director: Stefan Belov
Producer: Denizali Ustundag
Sai has been a very difficult film set to be on, because it was an overnight shoot in a corner shop to which I have gone straight after finishing my script super visor job at Bend (a 3rd year film production).
First day my role has been sound recordist and quite frankly said the fridges in the corner shop were so loud!! Not just like a regular background noise - they didn't overlap (?) the sound of dialogue but they were loud enough to cause problems in post - I'm sure about that.
Moving around the small corner shop was a challenge on its own. Pako (boom-op) and I had problems with all the camera movement and character movement, but in the end we have figured it out and shot on through the night.
Second day was even more tiring than the first one as it had been my second day on the set of Bend and afterwards the set of Sai. This time I was the script supervisor, but quite frankly there wasn't much for me to do as it was a different day in the script therefore the set wasn't the same on purpose and props didn't really move around in between takes.
As I was leaving for a shoot to Slovakia, I didn't attend the 3rd day of shoot, which was a river location.
