This time in life (part one)

I could go on a rant about all the negative things that are going on in my life and influence my day every single day. I do that a lot. Some people (me including) sometimes have a need to vent about all the things that makes us angry, sad or disappointed and/or have ruined something in some way. A good "vent" usually helps me to only figured out the same thing over and over again: No one gives a shit. And by the time I'm back to this conclusion, I mostly don't feel any better.

So instead of being frustrated and irritated all the time I found a new solution to all this. I sincerely doubt that any of what I say would surprise you but it may help you establish some base to stop the pointless venting (please go ahead with the one that has a meaning).

Number one:

~People are egoistic creatures. (but so am I)

-what do I mean by this? I'm happy you asked. => let me tell you a little secret here that you already know, but maybe don't realize 100%. YET.

I have never met someone who is 100% altruist. NEVER. And especially in our nowadays world, people put themselves on the first place (unless they're your family and even then...).

So put yourself on the first place! I'm not saying "don't help someone" or "only do things for yourself". What I am saying is that do things for others, but consider yourself first. If you want to help someone, first think of what you get out of it - even if it's just a good feeling. You helped that person, so that you feel good about it. If you feel like shit afterwards (because they made you feel like that, obvs) - it was not worth it. If you feel a a sense of satisfaction at the end of everything, you did it for yourself. So put yourself first!

I don't actually know how many people (mis)understood what I was trying to say in that paragraph, but if you haven't maybe read it again and try to read between the lines.

Number two:

~Some people are not worth your attention.

-what do I mean by this?

I kind of think this one is self-explanatory. But I just want to clarify one thing. Don't break your legs, just for one more moment. It's not worth it. And it's only going to make you feel worse.

Number three:

~Figure out was energizes you.

-what do I mean by this?

Different people have different things that give them energy. Some people go to the gym, some go shopping, some take pictures, some watch movies etc. Find your own way of how to stay on top of things and don't waste your energy on things you think are doing good to your mind, but they're not. Focus on finding your "zen" stage and recharge whenever you need it.

These are just very few things that I found out. I have a lot more that I could talk about. So I might as well write another article about this later on at some point. If you got this far, I admire you and you deserve a medal!
