What is this blog even about?

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog, to which I upload my study related paperwork and projects, production updates and even some film reviews of those movies I really enjoyed and recommend to watch. There is also a personal section here, in which some things I find interesting in my life appear, such as photos and pictures and in the DIARY section you can read about what is going on with me, too.

But first I should introduce myself.

My name is Michaela Kicinova, I am 2nd year student at Middlesex University London and I study BA Film. Why film? Because I am a very very very creative person with ideas storming in (and out -.-'), however I cannot draw, sing or play any musical instrument. But I like to consider myself to be quite good in writing and visualizing things and on top of that I enjoy doing it. Of course I could've gone and done something "normal" like business or law or languages (since I am fluent in 4) but I decided to go my own way and follow a crazy dream of

becoming a film-maker (yay for me!!!). I am currently focusing on becoming a production designer and I aspire to be one in the future! Design plays a huge part in everyday life and on screen it makes a huge difference to the overall look of the film.

I swam for 11 years competitively and I still would be if it wasn't for my stupid shoulder joint! *much frustration* Water is my element and I love swimming to death and since I cannot do much on the water these days, in 2015 I decide to become a scuba diver and let me tell you, it was a damn good decision! So now instead of the new swimsuits, I dream of tropical seas with beautiful coral reefs and swimming with mantas and dugongs (I'll have to grow some more courage to swim with sharks *haha*). I have always had something for winters (because skiing is the best), but after my time in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada I came to a conclusion that I have never seen a winter before and I fell in love with it even more. Now I want to move to Canada!

So I hope you enjoy the time you might spend here and if you don't... well that's completely up to you, eh!

Have a great day no matter what and remember that the Rule 101 to happiness is to wake up and tell yourself you're in a good mood!
