Location scouting (MDA 2400)
Our assignment was to find a location that we could possibly use in our films and considering my script for screen writing module I picked a smoking area at the campus, specifically the one in front of the Grove building.
I only have pictures with the smoking area empty but I've watched for about a week to see which times are the most frequented.
Mornings: 9-11AM - not too busy, but people usually come around the full or half hours (+/- 5 minutes), because those are the times when lectures and workshops usually begin or end.
Lunch: 11AM-1PM - more people move around the area which theoretically could disrupt the flow of the shoot, especially because it is one of the entrances to the Grove building, but with reasoning and good scheduling anything could be solved.
Afternoon: 1-4PM - similar to morning, people don't smoke there that much, since it is usually more comfortable to smoke on the bridge from the 1st floor.

-electricity outlets: in the Grove building (no more than 10 meters)
-toilets: in the Grove building (no more than 25 meters)
-rain cover: bridge over the entrance to the Grove building
-food and drink: 1st floor of the Grove building has a cafe with food and drink, another is in the College Building, MDX House (MDX Student Union), Shepard's Library and off campus facilities also become an option
-transport: tube station Hendon Central on Watford Way (cca 300 meters from the location); bus stop for buses 183, 143, 326 outside College Building or Hendon town hall.
