New year. New times?

On Monday October 3rd the 2nd year of uni has begun for me. While most of my friends from back home have already started their 2nd (some of them only 1st) year about 2 weeks ago I have only started now.

The first weeks went by fast (as usual) and meeting old friends felt great but actually making a few new ones felt even better. I wish the whole year would be this smooth, but I know that's not going to happen. The only thing I can do to make it a smoothER is to work hard and leave no unfinished business.

Assignments started pouring down on me (on everyone actually) from day 1 and to be completely honest it felt like going back to high school and times when we did re-entry exams (God! How much I hated those!!!) But anyway, these assignments are to be done, so I will do them no matter what.

I wish everyone would feel this way in our course. I think that last year many people realized that the grades don't count into our degree grade, so they didn't really put themselves into it. I certainly hope that people either wake up this year and start working properly or leave. Because I am not the type of a person, who will let someone ride my tail, even if it sounds mean, it's the truth. I am always willing to help if someone asks for help, but I am not willing to do someone's work beginning to end. That's a no-no. And not just in uni, but everywhere in the industry, in the world. I really wish the times changed for everyone and that last year won't repeat.

Unfortunately I lost my blog from last year, but I will try to acquire at least the blog posts... maybe they're somewhere in my hard-drive.
